CLASSES

Elissa

Elissa founded Form with the intention of reinventing the London based fitness studio class. She created her new signature workout METcore, to be a unique and highly effective workout for men and women alike, encompassing every facet of promoting a healthy and optimally functioning body. From building core strength, to balance, coordination, posture, strength and cardiovascular fitness conditioning. METcore is aptly phrased, "a one stop shop for your fitness everything"

Elissa's background includes Stott mat and reformer Pilates and Pure Barre certifications. She is a former National tennis player and ex dancer. These vastly opposing disciplines contributed to the evolution of METcore. Combining the attributes of both sport (strength, agility and fitness) and dance (posture, grace and flexibility)

Elissa brings a wealth of information and experience to her classes. Her work in both London and across the pond in Los Angeles, has built her an illustrious client base. She is confident enough to exclaim that METcore guarantees results!

AMI

Ami comes with a wealth of teaching experience; Stott Pilates trained, a background in ballet and movement psychology, combined with HIIT and weight lifting. She is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, specialising in Sports Nutrition.

With a love of weights and a precision to detail, Ami believes that exercise should be an enjoyable element of your life. She applies this mantra to her teaching method to ensure clients never compromise on their workout and leave class on a true endorphin high. She will be sure to get that extra little bit out of you that you didn't know you had!

Imogen

Fitness has always played a key role for Imogen. Having had a successful background in dance and professionally trained in musical theatre; image, health, and fitness have played a key role in her lifestyle.

A country girl at heart, Imogen is 100% dedicated to helping others reach their personal goals and her wealth of knowledge as a personal trainer, nutritional advisor, and HIIT and HIRT specialist ensures that her workouts offer something for everyone.

Imogen's wellness philosophy is simple yet effective, live a balanced, happy lifestyle.

Lucy

Lucy has developed a well-rounded instructional style thanks to her diverse sporting background, which includesice-skating, gymnastics, trampolining, and skiing in addition to extreme sports such as Kray Maga, Parkour, and climbing among others.

Her classes appeal to clients of every level – she encourages newcomers to set and achieve attainable goals, while offering a variety of creative approaches to class regulars who are looking for something new and challenging.

Jeremy

Jeremy is an Elite natural bodybuilder, professional athlete and celebrity Personal Trainer with a formidable client list including Tamara Eccleston, Lady Isabella Hervey and David and Brooklyn Beckham.

His passion, dedication and goal orientated teaching methods have changed the lives and bodies of athletes, celebrities, fitness enthusiasts and complete beginners.

Olivia

Originally from Canada, Olivia moved to London in 2011 to pursue a career in choreography, performance and fitness. Olivia has trained extensively in all forms of dance and has developed her passion for teaching classes during her dancing career. She combines her wealth of knowledge and dancer’s perspective with yoga, Pilates and HIIT training to maintain and improve her clients’ movement, dynamic strength and body conditioning.

When not teaching at Form, Olivia runs a dance school for children, The London Dance Project and is a Dance Coach at the American School in London.  You can also catch her around the city performing and collaborating with artists and directors on independent projects and music videos.

Nick

Nick fell in love with fitness at an early age and has made a career out of training and instruction. He has natural charm and likeability, which allows clients from all backgrounds and fitness levels to easily connect with him. Passionate about movement and with a natural competitive energy, Nick challenges his clients to strive for their best results, in each class he teaches.

How do I book my first FREE class?

Enjoy your first class on us… To get started all you need to do is take a few moments to sign up to create your online account. Once that’s all set up you’re ready to get booking your first METcore class! You can peruse our online schedule and book your classes up to 8-weeks in advance. Alternatively, you can always email us at hello@formstudios.co.uk or pop by to make your booking.

We offer classes from 06.30am to 8pm Monday - Friday and from 9am to 5pm Saturday - Sunday.

How fit do I need to be?

Our classes are small (just 8 per class) and suitable for all levels of fitness - our instructors are dedicated to working each and every one of our clients to their maximum and offer modifications wherever necessary, for clients who may be struggling or those who need a greater challenge.

How often should I come?

We suggest starting out with 2 classes a week and as your fitness levels increase, building this up to 3-4 times per week from there.

What do I need to wear?

We recommend sporting a tank or t-shirt on top and leggings or sweat pants on the bottom. Anything you can move comfortably (and get your sweat on) in!  No trainers required.  It’s bare feet or ToeSox - which we sell if you should need a pair.

What do I need to bring?

No need to bring anything but your “ready to workout” self!

We sell bottled water and cold pressed drinks for your refreshment during and after class. We also provide changing and shower facilities, with complimentary towels and products for you use.  * All clients are required to wear grippy/pilates socks and you will not be permitted to train without grippy/pilates socks - we sell a wide range of Tox Sox at the studio should you forget to bring a pair *

 What if I need to cancel my class ?

 

Should you wish to cancel or reschedule your session please be aware that we operate a 24-hour cancelation policy. We are unable to reaccredit for class cancellations made inside 24-hours and this also applies to first class free credits.

Any tips for my first class?

You might like to have a light pre-workout snack around 30-40 minutes before your workout. Good light snack options - half a banana, a handful of almonds or a couple of apple wedges with almond butter.

We recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes before your first class so that we familiarise yourself with the studio and we can introduce you to the equipment before we get started.  

Be prepared to sweat and work out hard but do keep in mind that it’s your first class and it’s going to be particularly challenging as you and your body are new to this class. 

So go easy on yourself and don’t feel defeated.  It does get easier and you will get results - fast!

 

p.s -don't forget to bring grippy/pilates socks as you will not be permitted to train without them - we sell a wide range of Tox Sox at the studio should you forget to bring a pair with you.
